In 2008 Hostway launched a Cloud Server effort, which mainly leverages Microsoft’s Windows Server and SQL Server database — though Centos and Red Hat Enterprise Linux also are supported. They are really good at what they do and this $110 million will help them to be another major player in the cloud hosting industry. Their cloud servers will at least have a huge boost with the extra money they have received.
