Gigaom reports “Capellas will become CEO of Acadia, which is also funded by an investment from Intel and VMware, and will lead all aspects of the Virtual Computing Environment coalition.

Rackspace announced that it will be leasing an additional 28,200 square feet of space from a subsidiary of DuPont Fabros Technology Inc. This will increase the size of Rackspace’s data center to 65,000 square feet of space in Elk Grove Village, Ill.
This new demand for cloud hosting space is due to the large continued growth of its cloud and managed hosting businesses.
