Red Hat Cloud Access will let enterprises use their subscriptions to support either traditional on-premise servers or servers hosted on Amazon’s Elastic Compute Cloud, the company said on Tuesday. Although, Cloud Access will only be available to customers with a minimum of 25 active premium subscriptions and have a direct support relationship with Red Hat.
Kinda lame if you ask me, that they would limit the number of people that have that. What company pays for 25 active premium subscriptions of Red Hat at a cost of $1,299 annually? I’ll pay for one for the support… Actually, I think I personally pay for at least 2 but still. 25?
